And here I thought they only played dodge ball with those lame foam balls.

For a long time now, I have been thinking about how whussy today's kids are. I worked a summer camp program at the University of Nevada for a while and we always used these soft foam balls for playing dodge ball. That's right, foam. Now back in the day (as I grab my lower back), dodge ball was a right of passage. Those welts on my face from the spongy RUBBER ball, which left crosshatches near my eyes, were how I knew that I could handle adversity.

Needless to say, my dodging of rubber balls has nothing on these kids near Los Angeles City College. Dodge Ball Is Campus Craze I don't know how I would do dodging GOLF BALLS.
