Is it just me...

Or is anyone else upset that the new I Robot movie is a fusion of Asimov's world with the murder mystery of Earl and Otto Binder's (Eando Binder "E and O Binder") 1939 story of the same name.




I guess it wouldn't bother me at all, except that imdb doesn't credit the Binder story, which was the basis for the Outer Limits episodes called "I Robot," only Asimov. Besides, even the Nestor model with the modified First Law couldn't murder. In fact, the positronic brain doesn't work without a first law protocol. Bah...
