More Baseball

I would agree that if the M's were in the Central they would take the division. Fan loyalty is an interesting thing though. As a Boston fan, I have never faltered in my support my entire life. Red Sox fans never give up hope, and for the record we do not enjoy our own misery as some sports casters would have you believe. I believe that the Red Sox are part of the fabric of life of their fans.

This does not exist in other places; such as Philadelphia. These are the most fair weather fans I have ever been around. After a 1 and 6 start they are already calling for the manager's head. Fan loyalty only exists when things are going well. The ball park empties as the fortunes of the Phillies go south. Strange, at least to me.
